COLLEGE PROFILE
Doaba College, Jalandhar was founded on 1st January, 1941 by great philanthropists and educationists like Sh. Bindraban Sondhi, Rai Bahadur Badri Dass and Sh. Jagan Nath Mittal. This multi faculty, co-educational postgraduate college has completed 69 years (Diamond Jubilee) of remarkable service to the people and has established itself as one of the finest institutions of India.
Now the college has carved a niche, for itself and is proud of its vast alumni, who are masterminds in the different walks of life like Lord Swraj Paul - Chancellor, Wovlerhampton University, Sh. Yash Chopra - Dada Saheb Phalke Awardee, famous indian film producer and director of international repute, Sh. S.L Jain - Former Deputy DPI (Colleges) Punjab, Sh. Prem Kumar Dhumal - Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Sh. Manoranjan Kalia - Punjab Cabinet Minister for Local bodies, Industry & Commerce and many I.A.S, I.P.S, P.C.S, Bureaucrats, Educationists, Engineers, Doctors, Journalists and Business tycoons.
DEPARTMENT
PG Department of Computer Science & IT was established in 1999. It is the pioneer of Computer Education in Jalandhar both for graduation and post graduation courses namely:

The department has consistent history of meritorious records for all these courses. The department has produced excellent research scholars, sportsmen, industry- magnates, politicians, educationists since its inception.
THEME
Over the last few decades, the field of Information Technology and allied fields has been explored exhaustively. Now, organizations and institutions are competing to take lead in different areas of IT. Due to increasing complexity and size of problems, the importance of these areas has grown tremendously. The problems which were out of bounds to the computer scientists are now being solved using advanced computing and engineering. Hence the conference will provide means to acquaint technical and scientific community about these areas.
OBJECTIVE
The objective of the conference is to bring together experts from Industries, Academia, R&D Institutions and other user communities on a common platform to discuss and share their expertise and ideas about advanced technologies and trends. This initiative is expected to result in original contribution towards development and improvement in the field of Computer Science & Information Technology. The contributions will be reviewed by group of experts from reputed institutes.

LOCATION
The College is situated on Vidyalaya Marg, opposite famous Devi Talab Mandir, about half a kilometer from the Railway Station and approximately the same distance from G T Road, Bypass to Amritsar and is located within a few minutes walk from the business and industrial quarters of the city.
