Classrooms

The college campus extends to 21.23 acres. To make teaching-learning process systematic and organized, the classes are run in separate departments. The college has well-equipped classrooms, seminar halls, a centrally located fully computerized administrative block, and a three-storeyed open shelf library. A wide range of facilities is also available that range from sports ground, doctor’s room, DBT botanical garden, green house, computer labs, common room for girls, auditorium, college café, and residential quarters for the support staff.

The details of these facilities are:

Classrooms : The college has 65 well-lighted and ventilated classrooms. Some rooms are big enough to accommodate more than the usual number of students during special lectures and discussions. It is ensured that classrooms are swept and dusted properly before and after the classes.
Technology enabled learning spaces : There are two types of classrooms in the college. One type is the traditional lecture rooms and the other ICT classrooms. The latter have the latest equipments like OHPs.
Seminar halls : The college has air-conditioned seminar halls and multi purpose hall. These halls are used for arranging special events like guest lectures, seminars (both state level and national level), paper reading competitions, panel discussions, group discussions etc. In addition to these halls the college has Virendra Auditorium

Tutorial spaces: The institution realizes the importance of interactive learning as students learn better through the citing of examples than the simple lecture method. Therefore, the institution has sufficient number of tutorial rooms.
