Event Title - An Interactive Session with Worthy Principal

On-line interactive session to apprise female students about objectives of the Women Empowerment Cell of Doaba College, Jalandhar. Principal Dr. Pardeep Bhandari, stressed upon the already existing religious and cultural significance of respecting girl child. He gave importance to sensitizing the males right from a young age about the value and respect of a female in our society. He said that in the coming time the college with the strenuous efforts of the cell would undertake the activities to make every single girl student emotionally strong and self-reliant in every sense. Prof. Gurdish Saini, Convener, Women Empowerment Cell highlighted the the objectives, need and importance of such cells in every institution and urged the girl students to be fearless, expressive, aware of their rights and overcome all inhibitions, especially when they face any threat or challenging situation in life. The session was attended by 130 participants, including the female students and faculty members.

An orientation meet of JAGRUTI-Women Empowerment and Prevention of Sexual Harassment cell was held in Virendra Auditorium of Doaba College on 25th October 2021. The Coordinator of the cell Prof. Ms Gurdish Saini formerly welcomed The Principal Dr. Pardeep Bhandari and the girl students of the UG and PG classes of the college.Prof. Ms Gurdish Saini congratulated the Principal for rejuvenating the cell in letter and spirit. She familiarised the students with the objectives of the cell and inspired them to work harder to get equality in the society.

He motivated the students to be confident. He highlighted the fact that children were more successful in families where the mother.
