GEMS DCJ Alumni Association (Regd.) meets regularly and offers valuable suggestions for the development of the institution. It provides feedback about the various activities going on in the college. Renowned Alumnus Late Sh. Yash Chopra used to donate Rs. 1 Lac every year for the development of the college. This Association serves as a link between the college and society. Its members provide financial assistance to deserving and underprivileged students. They also donate books to the college library and extend support in student placements. The alumni are actively involved in the extension activities of the college. They are invited as Guests of Honour, Seminar Speakers, Judges, and Workshop Facilitators in various flagship events of the college, namely Doaba Youth Festival, National Media Fest Communis, Talent Hunt, etc.

Renowned alumni such as acclaimed comedians Sh. Gurpreet Ghuggi, Sh. Deepak Raja, Sh. Balwinder Vicky, and Davinder Bablu; Punjabi folk singers Sh. Surinder Laddi, Rai Jhujar, and Sh. Inderjit Singh Rahi regularly contribute towards nurturing the talents of budding artists in the college.

The GEMS DCJ Alumni Association (Regd.) has been established with the objective of encouraging former students to maintain strong links with the College and with one another. Since 1941, the College has witnessed generations of students pass through its portals and establish themselves across the globe.
