Celebration of World Environment Day

Fifth June of every year is celebrated as World Environment Day all over the world to sensitize people about the preservation of environment from local to global level.

Department of Geography and Environmental Studies of our college celebrated World Environment Day by planting saplings in the college campus on 05-06-2021 as trees are the chief source of oxygen and protection of environment. Worthy Principal Dr. Pardeep Bhandari was the chief guest. After the plantation of saplings, all the gardeners of the college were given Corona Protection Kits by Worthy Principal Dr. Pardeep Bhandari. Dr. Pardeep Bhandari acknowledged the contribution of all the gardeners of our college for their contribution in making the entire college campus green.

This event was attend by Staff Secretary Prof. Sandeep Chahal, Dr. Daljit Singh (Head Department of Geography & In-charge Environment Studies) and Prof. Manjinder Sood.
