Orientation Program

The orientation program for students of semester-I was organized by Department of Education under the guidance of the Dr. Pardeep Bhandari, Principal, Doaba College, Jalandhar. Prof. Kawaljit Singh, Vice Principal of the college was the chief guest of the day. Dr. Avinash Bawa, Head, Department of Education and Prof. K. K. Yadav, Dean Academic Affair welcomed the chief guest. In his welcome address Dr. Avinsah Bawa welcomed the students of B.A. B.Ed.- I and B.Sc. B.Ed. –I. He also gave brief introduction about the department to the students. In his presidential address Prof. Kawaljit Singh unfold the various activities running in the college. He laid stress on the value of discipline, sincerity, and excellence to achieve the goals of one’s life. Prof. K.K. Yadav, Dr. Rajiv Khosla, Head, Department Biotechnology, Dr. Arshdeep Singh, Head, Department of Physics, Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Dr. Narinder Kumar informed the students about various activities, and labs of the science departments. Dr. Ankur Sharma, Dean ECA, told about various co-curricular activities of the college. Prof. Jaswinder Singh, elaborated various activities of the department of education through a power point presentation. He also recited a self written beautiful poem on Doaba College. Prof. Parveen Kaur formally thanked the guests of the occasion. The whole program was anchored by Prof. Manjit Kaur. Prof Gagandeep Sharma, Dr, Munish Kumar, Dr, Ashwani Kumar, Prof. Neha Gupta were among those who attend the occasion.
