P.G. Department of Journalism & Mass Communication, Doaba College welcomed the newcomers by organizing a themed fresher party, Desi Tadka. Students from all classes presented songs, groups and solo dances from  Bollywood and Punjabi industry. The anchoring and games added more fun to the party.

Miss Charming tag was awarded to  Rishita (BAJMC 1st), Most Wanted Munda to Rajiv(BAJMC 1st), Punjabi mutiyaar to Preeti(BAJMC 1st). Mr. Badshah to Sujal(BAJMC1st).  Gurpreet from (BAJMC 1st).  Daman from (MAJMC1st) were declared Mister and Miss Fresher respectively.
