Quiz Competition on Indian Knowledge System
The Department of Sanskrit and the PG Department of Political Science organized a Quiz Competition on the theme “Indian Knowledge System” at Doaba College, Jalandhar. The event was held in PG Block, Room No. 101 and witnessed enthusiastic participation from students.
Around 90 students participated in the competition, showing great interest and knowledge about India’s rich intellectual and cultural heritage. The quiz included questions related to ancient Indian texts, philosophy, science, literature, culture, and contributions of scholars from the Indian Knowledge System. Participants displayed impressive awareness and critical thinking during the event.
The event was successfully conducted under the guidance of the conveners, Dr. Vinay Girotra and Prof. Vikas Jain, who motivated students to explore and appreciate the depth of traditional Indian knowledge. The quiz aimed to encourage students to understand the relevance of ancient Indian wisdom in the modern world and to promote academic curiosity among them.
The competition was organized in a well-structured manner and maintained a lively and engaging atmosphere throughout. Students actively participated and appreciated the initiative taken by the departments.
