Essay Writing Competition on National voters Day

Doaba College Jalandhar celebrated 13th National Voters Day on 25th January 2023 to mark the foundation day of the Election Commission of India. PG Department of Political Science in association with PG Department of Journalism organized Essay writing competition and Declamation Contest on this years NVD theme, Nothing Like Voting, I Vote for Sure to convey peoples feeling and aspiration towards participation in the electoral process through power of their vote. Amisha from Commerce Department won Essay writing competition and Kalpana Bhatia from Journalism Department got first position in Declamation Contest. Voter Registration Camp was also organized in college premises with the help of Booth Level Officers.
